2023/2024 SPEEDCARS AUSTRALIA BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT

Following last weekend's successful Annual General Meeting and 2023 National Conference in Adelaide; Speedcars Australia Incorporated are pleased to announce the 2023/24 season Board Executive. Victoria's Andy Pearce makes a welcome return to the President's position, while Tasmanian Brock Webster has stepped up to become our new Vice-President. Both were voted in unanimously.

Queensland Delegate Caitlin Greenwood has taken on the Board's Secretarial seat, while fellow-Queenslander Michael Harders remains the national Treasurer/Public Officer as a staff member.

The Board thank outgoing President and long-term Board Member Mark Harrington of SA, who took on the Presidency for an additional season last year after informing his intent to transition off the Board.

In season 2023-2024, Speedcars Australia will continue to focus on enhancing national administration functionality for clubs and members, promoting the division nationally, and supporting events across the country with funding grants.

There are big things coming for Speedcars in Australia, and the benefits will literally hit every state! Funding has been authorised for a selection of events hosted by all six Speedcars Australia-affiliated state clubs including the Australian Speedcar Championship, state Speedcar titles, and multiple blue ribbon events including the John Day Classic in WA, the Sydney 50 Lapper in NSW, the $20,000 to win Australasian 50 Lapper in SA, and more. All affiliated clubs will receive their allocation as events are run, as per previous seasons.
