Following this weekend's successful Annual General Meeting and National Conference in Adelaide; Speedcars Australia Incorporated are pleased to announce the 2024/25 season Board Executive.
Andy Pearce (VIC President) and Brock Webster (Tas President), maintain their national President and Vice-President positions respectively, while Alison Dwyer (SA President) has returned to the national Secretary role with the recent resignation of our former secretary. Michael Harders remains the national Treasurer/Public Officer as a staff member.
In the coming season, Speedcars Australia will continue enhancing national administration functionality for clubs, car owners, and competitors; and promote the division nationally on free-to-air TV and at major motorsport events.
Per previous seasons, the Australian Speedcar Championship will again receive a $10,000 boost to the prizepool, plus $12,000 in tow money shared between those travelling to SA.
Individual state funding has also been allocated for events across the country, including the state Speedcar championships, the John Day Classic in WA, the Victorian Beasley Family Memorial, the Sydney 50 Lapper in NSW, the $20,000 to win Australasian 50 Lapper in SA, the NSW ANZAC Challenge, Pro Speedcar Week, and more.
Board Delegates/Presidents will share detailed meeting outcomes with your club, and technical updates will also be posted shortly along with the revised rule book. Thanks also to the competitors and fans who submitted feedback and ideas for consideration at the conference.
